While at Barney's on my birthday, I came across the super adorable Rockie Duffel bag in red, which is a mini version of the Rocco Duffel. The Rocco was always way too heavy for my personal use, but I loved the look of it, and this one is SO adorable and cute! Alexander Wang is one of my favorite designers, and I've also been coveting a Marion bag (the leopard style pictured) - and what more timeless, classic pairings can you get than lipstick red and leopard? Plus, I already had those Zara shoes above on my list of things to buy - it so perfectly combines the color and the pattern, perfect for fall!

 Today is my birthday so I'm going to share some photos that my sister took on Saturday, celebrating (rather than dreading) my birthday! I made white wine sangria and my sister made cupcakes, and we had some close friends over. (Warning: this is a pretty picture heavy post!)

About a month ago I posted my summer reading list, so since I've read through most of them (plus some others), I thought I'd give brief reviews here.

Taking these photos was rather...interesting! One guy saw Lauren snapping photos of me and he had a giant lens, and randomly decided to snap a few pics of me too. I've never felt more like a z-list celebrity! haha And trying to get a good jumping shot was tough - one guy passing by made me laugh by saying that jumping in heels should be an Olympic sport. I totally agree!

Anyway, I am so in love with this skirt! Not just the shape but the color and texture too. I think I need more of these in my closet...(uh oh).
