Happy Monday and Happy December!! I really cannot believe that it's already the last month of the year...insane! All the holiday shops are up in Union Square, the Rockefeller tree is lit, and Columbus Circle has its own Christmas lights display - if this doesn't mean New York is ready for the holidays, I don't know what does! 

I had a really nice weekend this weekend. I was exhausted after all the stress of finding an apartment and putting an application in and then finding out we can move back into out building this week so our landlord is no longer letting us out of our lease (NIGHT-mare, I'm telling you.), so it was nice to have a fairly relaxing weekend! 

Friday night was a friend's birthday - so fun, with delicious fried chicken! (At The Commodore in Brooklyn, in case you're wondering.), and then a fairly chill night after for once! Saturday was brunch and then a spontaneous dinner invite to a friend's place in Brooklyn for homemade pot pie - yum! It was so good to catch up over a homecooked meal and some wine (if you guys are reading this, love you and it was so good to see you!), and yesterday we trekked over to the Helmut Lang sample sale (I didn't end up getting anything, but the people I was with did!) and then a Mexican brunch at El Centro (always delicious), and Lauren and I took photos for the blog in Central Park - probably the last few Central Park shoots for a while since we finally get to move back in to our building on Wednesday!

And today the weather is warm and gorgeous and it doesn't feel like December at all.
