It was so exciting to see all these huge bloggers and hear from entrepreneurs - unfortunately the only person I didn't get a photo of is Katia Beauchamp, Co-Founder of BirchBox - I only realized this when I was putting this collage together, but I know it's because my brain was just overloaded with information by the end of Day 1! (She spoke at the very end.)

And, here are some of my favorite quotes from the panelists & speakers:

I want to explain Neil Blumenthal's quote a little more - in context, he was explaining how what looks good in terms of glasses frames in Bangladesh are gold rimmed frames, and how even if they were to give people black framed glasses that are hip here in the US, over there they would rather not wear any glasses at all. Quite amazing when you think of it, isn't it? People just will not purposely wear something they think looks bad, and I think that speaks to the importance of fashion or style to anyone. 

Personally speaking, I did Warby Parker's "try at home" service, and although the price was incredible, none of the frames looked good on me so I didn't end up buying any, and recently spent over double what an entire pair of glasses would have cost from WP on a frame. Just another example of fashion first, price second - which is something else Neil mentioned!

Anyway, I've learned so much from the two day conference, and now I feel like I have a lot of homework to do, and so much more to learn to continually improve my blog!
