Gwyneth's New Cookbook: It's All Good
Wednesday, January 30, 2013
If you guys follow me on Instagram or have been reading my blog at all, you'll know I really like Gwyneth Paltrow's cookbook, My Father's Daughter. I've roasted a chicken, made her mac and cheese, her fried zucchini pasta, her pancakes, and most recently, her turkey bolognese.
While browsing Amazon yesterday I saw It's All Good - her second cookbook coming out in April! You can bet I immediately pre-ordered it. Gwyneth is a self-proclaimed foodie, and if going by the recipes in her first cookbook is any indication, she has good taste and enjoys flavorful food!
What's different about this book is that "Not unlike a detox plan, the book is based on an "elimination diet" prescribed by her doctor when she was feeling fatigued and faint, anemic, vitamin D-deficient and stressed, reads the official publisher’s book description." (From NY Daily News) The book's recipes are sugar-free, vegetarian, wheat-free, and non-dairy. (Throw in low in sodium and I know Lauren will be super excited.)
Apparently the book includes recipes for things like Huevos Racheros, Salmon Burgers with Pickled Ginger, and Power Brownies.
I just know I'm excited for another slew of recipes that are both healthy and tasty, not to mention easy to make! (The ones in her current one are actually pretty easy, considering I am in no way an expert chef...or even a chef at all, really!)
