Lana Del Rey
This weekend my sister and I wandered into the Mulberry boutique at her suggestion, and I pretty much immediately fell in love with the Del Rey bag in Petrol (the color is actually much more vibrant in real life). I'd kinda been craving a satchel bag since lately I'd been all about the crossbody bags, as there's something just so chic and timeless about a good satchel.
Aren't they a beaut?
Watch how they make one here:
Well, guess this is the first item on my Christmas wishlist this year...!

Happy Friday!
Just posting a few quick snapshots I got the lovely Miss Ruby to take of me last night - she was so nervous taking my picture, but she did a great job! (Tell her she did a great job, she'd appreciate it!) Can ya tell I love hot pink? :)
Have a great weekend!

My absolute favorite color is purple, so I pretty much immediately fell in love with this dress the moment I saw it. Plus, with the midi length and loose silk, I knew I'd be able to wear it a few different ways. Here I chose to wear an oxford and tie it at the waist, with the dress as a skirt and some flat sandals for a day exploring Seattle. (I've been lucky - the two times I've been to Seattle the weather's been gorgeous! None of that rain that the city is famous for...)

I love leopard print. I tried a bunch of different leopard print jeans before, but unfortunately none of them just looked quite right - until I came across this pair at Bloomingdales. I LOVE the pale blue print - subtle, but still there, and it filled a hole in my denim collection for light jeans! I couldn't resist pairing them with my leopard Topshop shoes for some leopard on leopard action.
You may have noticed a watermark on these photos - they were taken by my best friend Crystal (who inspired my very first post on the blog!), who I was visiting in Seattle this past weekend. Isn't she talented? If any of you seeing this are in the area, you should look her up and get her to take your photos! (Check her out here - she does a lot of baby photos too.)
But, not only is she talented, she's the kind of friend who is endlessly supportive. She's really the first person who ever really believed in me, outside of my family, and it's one thing I appreciate the most about her. Not only that, but we have ridiculous amounts of fun just hanging out and doing - and laughing - at absolutely nothing, and she treats me like family. I only wish she lived closer! I definitely count myself to be incredibly lucky to have a friend like her - and to have her as my friend.
Ok, enough mushygush. Who's your best friend?
