Taking these photos were a little ridiculous, as it was right on Mott Street in Chinatown, on Sunday - and needless to say there were tons of people swarming around - I think it was the most challenging one yet! We were going to brunch/lunch at my favorite Shanghainese food place (so far) in the city, Shanghai Cafe. It was as good as I'd expected, and it was also the first time I was really craving Asian food since I got back from Hong Kong after Thanksgiving!

Red, white, blue and stripes - I don't think it gets anymore classic all-American than that! (Except for maybe with the addition of some denim, that is.) I got a comment that I look like "the fourth of July" in this outfit (thanks Jenn), but I kind of love it. I'd been looking for skinny red pants since last fall/winter and found these at Joe Fresh for $29 - bargain! Plus they're super soft, which is a bonus - I highly recommend them, but if you do get them try a size down (I got a size smaller than my usual).
